» loans range from $1000 to $15000
» Repayment in 5 years using monthly instalments
» Deposit is 10% of the loan amount or $500 whichever is less
» 1% administration fee (once off)
» Interest rate is 15% p.a. reducing balance
» Insurance cover –up to 2% of outstanding balance paid annually

We agree on the number of rooms from the approved plan we can build and complete within the $15000.
We agree on the number of rooms we can build and complete as part of your approved house plan of which you can comfortably pay back because our loan must be a blessing to you not a curse. We can finance and build starting from 1 room + bathroom and toilet going upwards depending on the capacity of the individual to repay
We prefer groups with stands in the same area because it makes it cheaper for both the clients and ShelterSol, however individuals are welcome. We prefer a group of at least 40 stand holders. Despite that, the loans are going to be individualized.

• For the formally employed

-Copy of ID, -Current pay slip
-Employment confirmation letter
-Approved house plan
-Offer letter from the local authority/ lease agreement/Agreement of sale/ title deed
-bank statement for the past 3 months
-Spouse pay-slip (added advantage)
-Fully completed loan application form

• For the informally employed

-Copy of ID -Fully completed personal income form
-Fully completed loan application form
-Copy of approved house plan
-Offer letter from the local authority/ lease agreement/Agreement of sale/ title deed -Spouse pay slip (added advantage)
-bank statement for the past 3 month (where applicable)

We build in any urban area and growth point in Zimbabwe. However we are biased towards high density areas because that is where most of the low income earners own stands.
